Canada Education Strategy Role – Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine a comprehensive strategy to increase student enrolment and engagement in Canada, with a focus on delivering outstanding, accessible, and impactful educational experiences.
- Analyse the Canadian education landscape and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion within the market.
- Build strong relationships with Canadian students, parents, educators, and key stakeholders to ensure our offerings address community needs and align with national standards.
- Provide strategic insights to product, marketing, and academic teams relating to Canadian curriculum requirements, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Leverage data insights to monitor performance, assess impact, and proactively recommend improvements for ongoing growth within the Canadian education sector.
- Champion inclusive and culturally responsive approaches across all strategic initiatives.
- Represent the company externally at Canadian educational events, conferences, and panels, promoting our mission and impact.
Professional Requirements for the Canada Strategist Position
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in strategy, project management, business development, education leadership, or a related area—strong familiarity with the Canadian education system is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategies within an educational, non-profit, or business context in Canada.
- Proven ability to interpret market data and educational trends, informing impactful decision-making and growth plans.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build trust with diverse audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Visionary, data-driven, and proactive approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Commitment to accessibility, diversity, and equitable learning outcomes for all Canadian learners.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills for a Canadian Education Strategy Expert
- Experience in K-12 or post-secondary education strategy in Canada, including prior work with online or blended learning models.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin/Cantonese is considered highly beneficial.
- Prior success launching or scaling education programmes in Canadian provinces or territories.
- Knowledge of provincial curricula and private or alternative education models within Canada.
