The Role
Over the last three years, sales in New Zealand have nearly doubled. We’re now hiring a high-performing Market Lead to continue driving marketing and sales execution in the market. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role for someone who thrives in the details, moves fast, and knows how to drive conversion at every stage of the funnel.
You’ll lead a small but high-impact team of marketing and sales professionals, owning the build, launch, and optimisation of campaigns that bring more families to Crimson Education. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious leader to accelerate their career while making a meaningful impact in Aotearoa and beyond.
What You’ll Do
Define and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy to drive growth in New Zealand
Conduct individual sales consultations with prospective customers, exceeding individual sales targets, and coaching others to do the same
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across New Zealand, including high schools, government bodies and corporate partners
Act as a positive ambassador for Crimson’s services and impact, and represent the company as required at events and conferences
Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to provide insights and recommendations for business expansion and product development
Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers, clients, and industry partners
Ensure the overall student experience creates a positive NPS
What Success Looks Like
Consistently exceeding monthly revenue targets while maintaining strong average deal size and close rates.
Personally exceeding individual sales targets and lifting overall team performance through hands-on coaching and clear sales standards.
Executing a focused marketing strategy that generates high-intent leads and converts them efficiently into enrolments.
Cementing Crimson as the clear category leader in New Zealand through deep relationships with top schools, partners, and institutions.
Representing Crimson publicly in a way that increases trust, referrals, and demand.
Delivering a consistently strong student and parent experience, resulting in sustained high NPS.
What We’re Looking For
You have 4+ years’ experience in sales or operations (including 2+ years of leading or developing a team)
You are a hands-on leader who is biased towards action
You have a strong track record of smashing personal sales targets and motivating your team to do the same!
You are resilient and can take initiative and drive outcomes in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
You are passionate about higher education
You are a graduate of a US Top 25 college (desired, but not required)
