The Role
This is a full-time position, based in Auckland, New Zealand
This role is responsible for ensuring effective local offline and digital marketing through content creation and localisation, local partnership outreach, and digital targeting, specializing in the New Zealand Chinese community. Responsibilities include:
Generating marketing ideas and owning marketing initiatives.
Manage and support the end-to-end marketing planning, execution and optimisation of marketing and growth campaigns targeting New Zealand Chinese audiences
Copywriting tasks in Chinese, including Wechat, Rednote ads and media booking, EDM campaigns, print collateral, event descriptions
Localising global campaigns and other marketing materials
Manage and grow Crimson’s following on organic social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Email and Telegram
Working closely with local advising & marketing colleagues, and HQ marketing team to create impactful and effective offline and online campaigns (including digital marketing ads to promote our events and services, creating local messaging and content assets that successfully engage and convert targeted prospects)
Working closely with the digital marketing team to tailor online content, landing pages, social posts, ads and EDMs to promote local events and initiatives.
Monitoring leads and conversion from marketing across all channels (Events, PR, FB, Content, Emails, PR, SEO & more) with weekly/monthly progress reporting, customer behaviour and user experience.
Organising local marketing events and initiatives
Sourcing, spearheading or coordinating with local offline and digital marketing channels and potential partners such as tutoring centres, concierge services, and schools
Assist with scheduling consultations for high-quality leads with the local sales team
What skills and experience are required?
Strong storytelling skill in Chinese and ability to connect emotionally with target prospects
Basic understanding of how paid digital advertising works on Google, Facebook, Wechat, Rednote, TicTok and other social media platforms
Native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English on a professional level both speaking and writing
Knowledge of New Zealand local marketing channels in Chinese community and partnership organisations for pursuing higher education overseas
An understanding of the US/UK undergraduate application process
Comfort working in an international technology company with colleagues from all over the world.
