About the Role
Crimson Education is bringing its test prep programs in-person to Taiwan for the first time, and we're looking for exceptional SAT tutors to join us in this launch.
If you've earned a top SAT score, have a track record of getting students real results, and want a role that offers meaningful work and professional development, this could be a great fit. In-person sessions are held in Xinyi District, Taipei.
This role is currently offered on a part-time basis with hours that can grow based on demand and performance. We welcome applications from candidates seeking both part-time and full-time engagement.
What you'll do
Deliver high-impact SAT instruction through one-on-one tutoring sessions and small group classes, delivered both online and offline, primarily for students from Taiwan and the broader Asia Pacific region
Use diagnostic data to design targeted instruction that drives measurable score improvements across Reading & Writing and/or Math
Build student confidence and test-day readiness through strategic practice, content reinforcement, and proven test-taking techniques
Maintain consistent communication with students between sessions to support momentum and accountability
Document session records and practice test scores in Crimson's internal systems
Deliver student progress updates and performance reports to the Crimson team
What success looks like
80%+ of your students meet their score improvement targets (standard range: 100–200 points over 3–6 months)
Consistent positive feedback from students, parents, and the Crimson team
Clean, timely session documentation and proactive communication
What we're looking for
Official Digital SAT score of 1530+ (99th percentile)
Prior SAT tutoring experience with demonstrated student results
Strong command of SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing; ability to teach both is a plus
Native or near-native English proficiency
Bachelor's degree required (Top 30 US university preferred)
Excellent communication skills and experience working with students from diverse educational backgrounds
Comfortable delivering sessions both in-person and online
Bonus points for
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese
Familiarity with ACT, AP, IELTS, or other standardized tests
