Immigration Attorney (US)
Join Concord as an Immigration Attorney — merge law, tech, and strategy to guide founders and global talent through US visas, with direct CEO access and product impact.
This isn't a typical immigration law role.
You won't be buried in paperwork at a back-office boutique firm. You'll be at the intersection of law, technology, and global ambition — helping the world's most talented founders, engineers, and executives navigate the US immigration system faster and smarter than ever before.
About Concord Visa
Concord Visa is redefining what immigration counsel looks like in the age of AI. Born out of Crimson Education — the globally renowned leader in education and career mobility — we're a fast-moving, technology-first legal services company purpose-built for high-growth tech companies and exceptional global talent.
Our clients aren't just anyone. They're Y Combinator founders chasing the American dream from day one, engineers joining AI-native ventures, and executives scaling some of the world's most innovative companies:
Y Combinator alumni and early-stage founders securing their first US foothold
Zuru — one of the world's fastest-growing consumer goods companies
Andreessen Horowitz and their portfolio companies scaling global teams
Crimson Education — operating across 30+ countries with a truly international workforce
Our team reflects the global nature of our mission — immigration professionals and seasoned operators from the US, Australia, the UK, New Zealand, and beyond. We know what it means to navigate borders because many of us have done it ourselves.
The Role
As an Immigration Attorney at Concord, you'll manage complex, high-stakes immigration cases for founders, executives, and tech talent — while partnering directly with our engineering and product teams to make our AI-powered platform smarter.
This is a rare hybrid role: part practitioner, part innovator. You'll bring deep immigration expertise to every case, and channel what you learn into tools that transform how immigration law is practiced at scale. Direct access to the CEO. Real influence on product and strategy. The scope grows as Concord grows.
What You'll Do
— Client & Case Work
Provide strategic, accurate legal counsel on H-1B, L-1, E-2, E-3, O-1, EB-1A/B, and PERM processes
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients from first-time founders securing their first visa to enterprise HR teams managing large immigration programs
Guide clients through documentation, timelines, filing strategy, and USCIS/DOL processes with clarity and confidence
Manage a varied, stimulating caseload independently — with the precision every client deserves
— Product & Technology
Partner with Concord's engineering and product teams to embed legal knowledge directly into our proprietary platform
Identify friction points in the immigration process and co-design features that eliminate them
Shape the product roadmap with direct input on how legal workflows can be automated and scaled
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure the platform reflects the latest in immigration law
— Thought Leadership & Growth
Represent Concord in client-facing presentations, webinars, and industry discussions
Contribute to guides and resources that educate clients and establish Concord's voice in the market
Help build our team and culture — this is a foundational role, not a seat-filler
Who We're Looking For
— Required Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Active Arizona bar license OR eligible for Arizona Admission on Motion (UBE passers and attorneys with 3+ years active practice in a reciprocal jurisdiction can apply without re-sitting the bar — we'll support you through this process)
2–5 years of substantive US business immigration experience (H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, EB-1, PERM, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-track caseloads with accuracy and autonomy
Genuine curiosity about legal technology and how immigration law will evolve
Exceptional communication skills — equally comfortable explaining strategy to a nervous first-time founder as to a seasoned HR director
— You'll Thrive Here If You...
Are energized by fast-paced, high-growth environments where your work directly shapes outcomes
Want more than a billable-hour career — you want to build something
See AI as an opportunity to do better legal work, not a threat to it
Are comfortable with some ambiguity and excited to help define the playbook
