With 800+ team members across 30+ markets, Crimson is scaling rapidly. We are hiring our first People Relations Partner, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), to shape how complex people matters are managed across our global workforce.
This role will lead global employee relations cases, conduct investigations and advisory work, while also supporting leaders on performance management, coaching and engagement-related issues as part of day to day people decision making. There will be a strong focus on building scalable frameworks to strengthen trust, enable high-performance and growth.
This isn’t just a reactive ER role — it’s about ensuring everyone is treated fairly by designing consistent, clear, and proactive processes that help leaders act quickly and confidently. The right person combines deep employee relations expertise, exceptional judgment and a commercial mindset. You will be pragmatic, AI-enabled, and skilled in guiding leaders through ambiguous and high-stakes situations, always focusing on outcomes that benefit both the business and its people.
This is a hands-on role requiring confidence handling cases across multiple jurisdictions, ideally in the UK, New Zealand or Australia, with exposure to the USA and Asian markets a plus.
This is a fully remote role requiring some flexibility across time zones, with the option to work in person if you are based near one of our offices.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
• Lead complex employee relations cases across multiple jurisdictions, including performance, behaviour, grievances and change related matters.
• Partner with legal counsel and senior leaders on high risk or nuanced cases to ensure fair, timely and compliant outcomes.
• Coach and support managers and employees through sensitive conversations.
• Support leaders with broader performance management, capability concerns and engagement challenges, applying a consistent and commercially sound approach.
• Build scalable, equitable employee relations frameworks, policies and playbooks.
• Identify trends and opportunities to strengthen culture, trust and performance, providing clear insights and recommendations directly to the COO.
• Leverage AI and data tools to improve case management, reporting and documentation while maintaining a human centred and compliance first approach.
What skills and experience are required?
• 4+years of experience in employee relations with a strong understanding of current best practices.
• Knowledge of employment law, regulations and principles, ideally in the UK, New Zealand or Australia, with exposure to the USA and Asian markets a plus.
• Exceptional judgment with the ability to assess risk, apply nuance and provide commercially sound recommendations.
• Confidence influencing and advising senior leaders while operating with autonomy.
• Experience supporting performance management and coaching leaders through underperformance or behavioural concerns.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast paced environments.
• A tech and AI-enabled mindset with curiosity around improving support, efficiency and insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in sensitive situations.
• High levels of discretion, empathy and professionalism.
