Marketing Executive (Chinese Marketing)

Employment: Full-Time
Location: Hong Kong (remote work possible for part of the week)
Team: Working within the HK Sales & Marketing team
What you will be responsible for:
This role focuses on engaging Mandarin-speaking families in Hong Kong through innovative content creation, event management, influencer and partnership marketing, and digital campaigns. You will play a key role in growing Crimson’s brand presence within the Chinese-speaking community, particularly through WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RED).
Responsibilities include:
Developing and executing localized content and video marketing strategies for Chinese platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), and more.
Producing regular image and video content, and establishing a relatable brand persona for the Mandarin-speaking community.
Planning, coordinating, and executing Mandarin-focused marketing events, including webinars, workshops, and expos, to ensure seamless delivery and an excellent attendee experience.
Managing and growing Crimson’s presence on Chinese social platforms, launching interactive campaigns to foster community engagement.
Planning and executing paid campaigns on Chinese platforms (WeChat Ads, Xiaohongshu, Baidu) and negotiating media buys with top-tier publishers.
Building partnerships with micro-influencers, parent bloggers, and alumni to co-create content, host livestreams, and drive engagement.
Monitoring KPIs such as follower growth, video views, event participation, and engagement rates; analyzing data to optimize future campaigns.
Skills we are looking for:
Proven experience in WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RED) content creation is required.
Experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and event planning, with a focus on Chinese-speaking audiences.
Excellent copywriting and video production skills (Mandarin and English).
Demonstrated fluency in English, with strong communication abilities.
Proficiency with marketing and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop).
Familiarity with influencer or affiliate partnerships and paid campaigns on Chinese platforms is a plus.
Analytical skills and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.

Deep understanding of digital marketing and Chinese social media platforms
Understanding of Canva, Marketo, or other marketing integration software
Knowledge of the US/UK university application process.
Experience working in or with the education industry is a significant advantage.
