About the Role
You’ll play a key role in developing and executing Canada-specific marketing strategies that speak directly to local families and students considering international education. This is not a generic or one-size-fits-all role—your work will ensure our messaging is deeply relevant across Canada’s diverse regions and distinguishes clearly from U.S.-focused narratives.
This is not a full-funnel role—you will collaborate with global and North American digital marketing teams, but your focus will be on creating compelling content, crafting localized messaging strategies, and executing high-impact campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and trust in Crimson’s offerings.
The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic, with a deep understanding—or demonstrated ability to quickly learn—the nuances of Canada’s education landscape and family mindsets. You must be able to work in Canadian time zones and travel occasionally to major metro areas (e.g. Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal) for in-person events.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
- Design and execute localized content strategies to engage Canadian families exploring overseas university pathways
- Create compelling written and visual content for paid social, email campaigns, landing pages, and short-form video scripts
- Manage end-to-end webinars and in-person marketing events, including speaker coordination, logistics, and promotion
- Collaborate with the global and North America marketing teams to localize broader campaign materials
- Represent Crimson at school talks, parent events, and education fairs across key Canadian cities
- Develop empathetic, family-focused messaging that reflects regional differences, education priorities, and cultural sensitivities within Canada
- Contribute Canadian market insights and campaign performance updates to the broader marketing organization
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently generate high-quality leads and engagement from Canadian families
- Deliver strong ROI from webinars, content pieces, and localized initiatives
- Produce high-converting, differentiated messaging that reflects Canada’s unique education context
- Grow regional awareness of Crimson’s brand and offerings
- Build strong working relationships across global and regional marketing teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in content marketing, event marketing, or education marketing
- Proven strength in creating conversion-driven copy across digital channels (ads, emails, landing pages, social)
- Experience with event management (online and offline)
- Deep understanding of—or a fast-learning mindset for—the Canadian education system and cultural dynamics
- Strong writing and communication skills; video scripting or basic design familiarity (Canva) is a plus
- Analytical mindset with ability to assess and iterate on messaging based on performance data
- Bonus: French proficiency and/or experience reaching bilingual or multicultural audiences
