Hiring Location

Singapore (This position is open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents due to quota limitations)

Accountant

What this role is responsible for:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, ownership of the day-to-day accounting across a number of Crimson entities. This includes, but is not limited to:

General Ledger & Financial Reporting

• Full book accounting for Crimson entities/ subsidiaries - perform journal entry bookings to maintain the GL, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions

• Perform monthly and year-end close procedures including P&L review and analysis

• Perform monthly reconciliations (eg. Bank Recon, Balance Sheet Recon)

• Assistance with annual audit and any financial statement preparation

• VAT/ Tax Filing & Reporting

Accounts Receivable

• Process incoming customer payments and reconcile customer accounts

• Track and manage accounts receivable aging, escalating aged amounts for corrective action

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals

• Manage vendor relationships, including communication and resolving inquiries

Payroll

• With the assistance from payroll providers, process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

• Process payroll journals in the accounting system

Other Duties

• Adhere to internal controls and accounting policies and procedures

• Assist with ad-hoc projects/ tasks as assigned

• Contribute to process improvement to uplift Finance function

What success looks like:

• Accurate & timely payment of contractors/ vendors/ employees

• Accurate & timely month end close for each entity

• Supporting wider Finance team in reporting and operational deliverables

What skills and experience you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounting (General Ledger/ Accounts Payable)

• Accounting/Finance tertiary background

• Experience with accounting software eg. MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Salesforce and Netsuite

• Highly-motivated individual with process improvement mindset

• Highly-organised with the ability to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision

• Detail-oriented and ability to manage complex administrative systems/ processes

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal/external stakeholders at all levels

• Problem-solver who takes ownership of delivering solutions

• Curious & committed to continuous learning & improvement
