Our tech platform connects 3000 tutors/mentors to students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities or their dream career pathway. To support our students, we have built / purpose of role
This is a full-time position, that can be worked remotely or in one of our many offices around the globe.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
1. Alumni Database Management:
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Crimson Alumni database.
Ensure data accuracy, privacy compliance, and segmentation for targeted engagement.
2. Community Engagement:
Work with the core team to establish and manage digital platforms (social media, alumni portal/website, newsletters) to foster a strong sense of community.
Create content and communication strategies to keep alumni informed and involved.
3. Event Planning and Execution:
Plan and host at least 2-3 major alumni events annually, including virtual and in-person gatherings.
Collaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure seamless execution and high engagement.
4. Collaboration with Local Crimson Markets:
Partner with regional Crimson teams to tailor alumni initiatives to local needs and cultural contexts.
Work with Country Managers / Regional Managers to create and oversee an alumni relations roadmap that works for their country/region
Streamline alumni management strategies across all Crimson markets.
5. Referral and Donation Initiatives:
Leverage alumni satisfaction to encourage program referrals and donations.
Develop incentive structures and recognition programs for alumni contributions.
6. General Alumni Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and support.
Monitor feedback and continuously enhance the alumni experience.
Identify and highlight alumni success stories for marketing and community-building purposes.
What skills and experience are required?
Proven experience in alumni relations, community management, or a related field.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to engage diverse audiences and foster meaningful relationships.
Proficiency in CRM tools, community platforms, and event management software.
Creativity and a strategic mindset for community growth and engagement.
On top of the above, it would be nice to have (although not necessary):
Experience in the EdTech industry or a similar fast-paced, global organization.
Familiarity with fundraising or referral programs.
Event planning certification or relevant credentials.

Alumni Engagement:
High active participation rates on alumni platforms.
Strong attendance at 2-3 major alumni events per year.
Consistent growth in platform engagement and community membership.
Database Excellence:
Up-to-date, accurate, and complete alumni records.
Quick and seamless onboarding of new alumni.
Referrals and Donations:
Steady flow of alumni-generated referrals with high conversion rates.
Achieving or exceeding donation targets from the alumni community.
Event Success:
Positive feedback and high satisfaction scores from alumni event surveys.
Strong ROI for events based on engagement and outcomes.
Community Building:
Year-over-year growth in the alumni network.
Frequent alumni success stories being shared and celebrated.
High levels of alumni satisfaction and positive sentiment.
Collaboration & Process Efficiency:
Smooth coordination with regional teams on alumni initiatives.
Consistently meeting project milestones on time.
Communication Impact:
High open and click-through rates for alumni communications.
Fast response times to alumni inquiries and requests.
